"I’m not a young woman nor a small woman so I don’t always move or bend the way I would like but yoga has helped. Ruby is a great teacher and always stresses to listen to your body and only do what is comfortable for you. I’ve been attending Ruby’s class twice a week for close to six months and have noticed that I can perform the moves better than I did in the beginning. I still can’t bend like a pretzel but I’m comfortable in the class and don’t feel out of place since most of us are in the same boat. I have definitely noticed a difference in my stress level and my blood pressure has been better also. After each class I’m at peace and very relaxed and can’t wait for the next one.

"Ruby’s yoga class is a spot in the day to which I really look forward. I become so stiff sitting all morning at the computer and I have a terrible tendency become like a turtle with my head shoved down in my shell! The class loosens me all over and really makes me feel good. I don’t feel tired when it is over; instead, I feel refreshed for the rest of the afternoon. Ruby is a joy and really makes us feel like we all can do it. She gives off such positive energy and gives kind words to us all that can really lift us up, especially if we have been surrounded with negativity all morning long. I recommend yoga to anyone who hurts, either physically or otherwise. I feel like so many could benefit by experiencing inner peace. If our lifestyles won’t allow us to slow down, at least this class gets us to stop for one hour per day to think soft thoughts, breath deep, float on a cloud and thank our bodies for all the hard work.
