    Ruby Saunders is a certified yoga teacher through the Chopra Center of Well Being, in Carlsbad, CA. and is registered with the National Yoga Alliance. She became interested in yoga and yogic philosophy in 1991. She has since absorbed herself in the study of a variety of yogic teaching. Ruby followed her inner guidance and decided to teach in 2006, wanting share her love for yoga and the gifts yoga has to offer. In today’s world of advanced technologies we, are experiencing life at a much faster pace. Ruby has a clear understanding of how to deal with stress generated by our modern lifestyle.

    Our needs to juggle family, friends, work, can leave us overwhelmed. Yoga and meditation can help us bring our lives back into balance, by taking time to care for our own inner being. Ruby is committed to helping others enhance strength, increase flexibly, to restore balance to the body and the mind through the practice of yoga and meditation.

   Classes are designed to be gentle and flowing with a holistic approach. The focus is on cultivating self-awareness, freedom of movement, balance, and developing a calm inner strength. She explains the ‘how-to’ of yoga poses with correct alignment without struggling or straining. We all can experience our true essence through the practice of yoga.

   Ruby continues to learn from her students and other yoga teachers. She is honored to help anyone who is interested in learning about yoga. She enjoys sharing peace, harmony, laughter, and happiness which are an inherent part of yoga.
